Farmd is the Sciences, Technology, and Engineering arm of Simplability, a company focused on simplifying sustainability, founded by IIT Bombay, LSE and Univ of Oslo alumni.

We believe that a focused approach which builds on academic research and solves for end-user problems has the potential to be disruptive. With unlimited access to managed farm operations, our speed of innovation is extremely fast and the ability to bring about a step change by incorporating partner technologies into our workflows is unprecedented.

After having lived and worked around the globe, we decided to build our company in the beautiful city of Udaipur in Rajasthan, India which offers a plethora of options to enjoy life – which is why we are on this earth after all!

Our Founding Team

We are graduates of IIT Bombay, the London School of Economics and the University of Oslo. We bring over 60 years of combined global experience across engineering, field operations, product management, sales, marketing and strategy. Our passion for and commitment to working towards a sustainable future brought us together.
